The cast of the upcoming TVB series Off Pedder <畢打自己人> took part in a promotional event today, appropriately, on Pedder Street in Central.
Ivan Ho (何守信), Teresa Mo (毛舜筠), Elaine Jin (金燕玲), Elvina Kong (江欣燕), Ng Kwun-Lai (吳君麗) and Joyce Cheng (鄭欣宜) were among the stars who took part in the bustling event that included spontaneous Polaroid photo taking with attendees.
Ivan was later, in a Wan Chai coffee shop, surprised by his colleagues with a birthday cake and many gave him a kiss.
He said that he had not told anyone about his birthday and even his girlfriend Grace Chan (陳麗斯) had not come to Hong Kong from the US.
The series marks the return of veteran Teresa. The actress revealed that, since she started working again, her 8-year-old daughter has started sleepwalking. Teresa said that, apart from promotional work for Off Pedder, she is turning down all work to spend more time at home.
The series begins airing in Hong Kong on Monday.
